Good on JT for putting it out there. Cannot happen, all WAFL supporters would band together and rally behind any of the 8 traditional clubs one would think . Tim Kelly is a classic example why the WAFL and each of the 8 traditional clubs must survive. Obviously EF have a lot of hard decisions to make going forward regarding their home base. Ground share like EP (Eagles) and $ubi do, hope the EF council come up with a development plan similar to Claremont or relocate like WP did to greener pastures.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

If their zone is as bad as the article implies then a WP style relocation would be a waste of time. Can only hope that Freo council goes ahead with the Fremantle Oval redevelopment sooner than later.

That said, how do they do out of growing suburbs like Harrisdale etc..

Yep mind boggling the delay this is taking is now blowing out to 10 years..

EFFC wont survive 10 years and its unlikey the WAFL as we know it will still be around.

Whats been apparent for a few years now is long term there is no future for two WAFL clubs in the Fremantle area.

JT is spot on about all his points, at first glance Perth seemed the most vulnerable, but its becoming increasingly obvious that EF are the club in the most dire straights, its finances and the state of the ground lack of on field success all adding up to a bleak out look.

damning indictment that ABC Radio have now abandoned the ground, its probably not far off being declared non league standard.

Tim Kelly is a great story, but one player every now and again like that isn't going to be an excuse to prop up an entire club , in any event a player like that just gets funnelled to another club.

I've got my doubts about the rally thing...as the article says those days are gone with the dinosaurs, if its not them its likely to be another club..

Yep PFC, zero on field success but making a go of it with the Lathlain development, keeps wolves from the door.

EF oval is a disgrace. I would be interested to hear the response from Shark management about there vision and direction. Given Wiley departure is imminent so to maybe the management who oversee the joint

Yep, it is by far the wost venue, its bad for the whole comp that ABC radio now refuse to broadcast from there due to terrible conditions.

As you say there doesn't seem to be any management direction, hasn't been for a while, they have been on life support now for decades with draft fees and wafc funding getting them through, the council have abandoned the ground to fall apart.
