Noticed the SANFL announced their State squad. Apparently they start training this week, and the squad will be trimmed down accordingly.

The first 6 are very good local boys who for varying reasons thoroughly deserve a shot at State footy for WA - and as for Nick Suban , even though he is a Victorian I am more than happy he gets his shot at State footy after pretty much playing all his senior footy in the West

Agreed. Would be fantastic to see those 7 rewarded with a state guernsey. Higgins and Leggett especially. Leggett missed a lot of footy last season and good to see him up and about again. The last state game, Higgins was overlooked with Andrews, Nelson and I think? Bolton doing the ruck duties.
I think Broadbridge has been appointed as the coach again.

Should be a great State game this weekend. Fairly certain WA hasn’t won a State Game in South Australia for over 20 years. Really, really hoping the match will be covered by Footy radio.

Just been looking at the Adelaide weather forecast.
Rain is due today, showers forecasted for tomorrow and then a shower or two being called on Friday and Saturday.
The maximum temperature for Saturday is said to be 19º.
The ground could be a bit slippery? The WA guys haven't seen much wet weather footy as yet.

Anyone know if any TV coverage/ radio for this game? I know it is being played before the showdown between Crows and Port.
