2 why isn't there any organised oppo this time around?

STT: There was a lot of pressure put on the Commission from the other clubs, together with help from traditional WAFL people, such as, the late Alan East and others. In addition to that, at Claremont, the alignment aplit the club, and in the end, the anti-alignment faction won the day.

In relation to the alignment today, rightly or wrongly, people have come to accept it as part of the competition.

every club receives money in the arrangement
it is a plus that most clubs don't have to allocate AFL players
the perceived strength of Subi could also be a factor for some people
Wafl supporters don't trust the Commission especially in terms of reformming the game in an equitable way

Tom Percy spoke up against the current alignment last season, but I think he's been told to shut up!
Not having a go at any OzFooty member so don't misinterpret please.
Many on here seem not to be on the same page, re: alignment. If everyone could get organised, spend less time arguing and having a go at each other, perhaps some very loud organised opposition could start here. There's enough bloody members on here for pete sake! I think it was Pat??? had the Save the Wafl campaign several years back, and that seems to have gone very quiet for some strange reason?
Although having said all that, probably all too late now!
