When did Subiaco become a traditional rival of Swans? Pure unadulterated fantasy.

Swan if you take the AFL reserves team out of the equation, you blokes finished 3rd so whats the issue?

And if we also take out Subiaco we have an even competition.

Any other teams hopes really Shark. The reality is that had Peel not stacked their team with AFL players in the last few years finals, Subiaco would be lining up for their 5th flag in a row in 2018 with no real end in sight for their period of dominance. As you have seen during the off season, if they lose players they can just buy more, no problems, so I cannot see any way they would not be in premiership contention in any given year in the future. If you want to call that a "competition" well I'll leave it to you. This is not sour grapes and I don't begrudge the Subiaco supporters enjoying their success, particularly the ones who endured years of them being on the bottom. The villians are the WAFC who have been asleep at the wheel while the WAFL has now been reduced to a total farce.

My sincerest apologies 58S; I didn't realise that i would need to preface my comments with "SARCASM ALERT".

What is absolute exquisite irony is for Subiaco supporters complaining about the inequity of Peel playing by the rules.

To speak directly to the topic I refer to the comments that G Taylor uttered (apparently D Trump style) that the extra 2 games would be between traditional rivals and the teams that finished in their third of the ladder. In case you can't remember where Subiaco finished it was 1st and Swans finished 5th. So the criterion of finishing in the same third was not met and no-one in their right mind or had a scintilla of knowledge about the WAFL could think that Subiaco and Swans are traditional rivals. So neither criteria was met in scheduling a third game between Subiaco and Swans in 2018. Could any Souths' or Peel supporters say how many times they play Subiaco in 2018?

As a postscript I would think most Swans' supporters expect us to finish in the bottom 2 in 2018.
