Yep agreed. He's got the ability to be a Troppo type gem. He dominated at ressies level in terms of possessions but couldn't get a decent crack at league with Max Walters being preferred of those emerging midfielders at Subi.

Mr AFL: to answer your question a wee bit more on Matthew B., his disposal was problematic at times; but, you could accuse all of Subi's mid fielders of that at times during games. He has been at a strong club. I too, would love to see him play at the PFC, or somewhere else. I wish him well in the future.

Agree with this. There was a bit of "35 touches but how many were effective" about some of his games this year. Some injuries didn't help his cause either - they never do when you're a fringe player who needs continually dominant performances to stake a claim.

Thanks to Ocker over on the Subi board - it's a job down in Mandurah that's caused his departure...so if he lines up anywhere it would be Peel you'd imagine. More likely to play in the ammos comp down there I'd suggest?

7 returning subi players of that 18, plus 8 leaving the club for draft and other reasons. Big turnover, but we have had that most years.

At this stage it appears the people that have employed him have given him a knife to take to a gun fight...if returning players Dean and Newman are the only new faces in 2018 we are in deep kaka
