Good luck to the man -- he did his bit for the Lions before he was draftted to the AFL.

Interesting point he makes about the intensity of Subi's training and that he can no longer commit to that level while trying to hold down a fulltime job. that resonates with this weekends game between mostly fulltime pro's and part timers.

SS you do a disservice to your club. It is a long way from a part time gig at Subiaco. To go along with the rivers of gold Subiaco train to elite standards. To down play it doesn't give credit to the hundreds of hours that go into the Subiaco machine. They might watch more videos at Fremantle or get more massage but your boys are just as hardened for this contest.

LB that is a seriously deluded idea. I suspect most of the Subiaco players had to work on the Monday; what have the players purporting to represent Peel had to do over the past 2 weeks?

I have a greater knowledge of the AFL system than you Swan. I know you will not answer but how many hours do you think the Peel players trained today. I assume all the Subi players did 12 hours in a sulphur mine then couldn't even do recovery tonight.

About the only work they would have done was to direct the Good Guys delivery driver where to leave their newly acquired whitegoods!

What a shame I would have enjoyed watching a player of his skill play a few more seasons in the wafl
