Will be interesting to see what the crowds come out at after the two finals over 2 days. At Freo it looked like 3500- 4000 and on TV the Basso crowd looks similar which would be up on last years first weekend of finals.

Next weekend will tell a story with the AFL back up and running, Subi v Peelmantle given there must have been about 200-300 Peel supporters at the Souths game judging by the noise or almost complete lack thereof when they scored. if we get 2500 there it will be a good result. Souths will host the sudden death 1st semi so should get 3500++ even though both games are likely to be up against the AFL finals.

Interesting to note that the first week of SANFL finals was a double header at Adelaide oval with a crowd of 10429 which would have looked ordinary in a 50000 plus stadium.

Port won by a couple of goals, Centrals thrashed Norwood. Next week is WWT v Port in the 2ns semi and Centrals v Sturt in the 1st semi, again as a double header at Adelaide oval.

They won't be up against the AFL. No AFL games on Sunday.
SF v SD should get 5k plus. S v PT is the TV game.

Be great to see 5 plus K see SD dick SF next week....the comp really needs SD to go deep in the finals....

Yeah sf v peel was a good turnout, given there were next to zero peel fans there, when they kicked a goal it was total silence. 3500 was just about all sf.
looked like about 4000 at basso today.
sf v sd Sunday should get 4000 to 5000.

I saw some photos on twitter, crowd looked impressive really. Must be where they had them seated

My estimate for the crowd at Basso would be between 7,500 - 8,000. Basso can hold 22,000.

There were a number of Perth supporters for the ressies and Claremont supporters in the colts on top of the mighty black and white supporters and West Perth supporters.

The atmosphere in the last quarter was tremendous.
