Doggie, within that cap of 6 interstaters, perhaps 3 above 25 yrs old and 3 below 25 yrs of age....prevents one or two clubs getting greater access to those more experienced/mature bodied ES recruits, through having more money than other clubs, due to their daily mismangement/misappropiation of their current monetary funds.

Pretty simple really.

Maximum of 6 interstate players on your list.

Clear enough?

. . . and Ryan Davis would count because he is from NSW. Doesn't matter how he is there or why . . . he is there.

Now even you SD fellas can get your marble brain pin head around that one?
:woohoo:

So even with your "AFL draftee certainties" plus that potential AFL superstar Reece Adams  running around again at the concrete jungle your mob still has more imports than Swans or almost every other WAFL club ...much like the AFL recruiter's your own coaching staff cant think too much of these so called "stars" either!! You play by yourself alot don't you?

We have 4 interstate recruits in 2013.

I'm talking about interstate players here. Do you understand?

Never said Reece Adams was a cert to be drafted 3-4 yrs ago either, said he was a chance like a few of them were back then.

I'll just remind you SD folk that SF have won the last 2 colts flags and have had 13 drafted in the last 3 years and have a stack of SF locals under 21 yrs old who played league in '12 and will make up at least half our league side in '13.

I would limit the clubs to 4 interstate players and 4 "other WAFL club" players.

That hopefully would

A: Get the clubs to recruit only top shelf players.
B: Provide an incentive for good local kids not to drift away to the ammos when they aren't drafted.
C: Hopefully reduce the debt of some of the clubs.

It must be getting close to the time when lists are just about final.

We all think and hope that our own club is looking pretty good but it's hard to know for sure without seeing the other lists. I might give it a crack. Hopefully any lists I post won't be seen as 100% accurate. Others can make the changes.

Swans list changes throughout the year, they usually have a lot more players training with them than the mimimum 55 and move players on and off accordingly to give players opportunities in reserves and then later in the year upgrade from the colts..

Yeah more than 55 is good. I'll post up as many names as I can find like I did with the subi one. Just working on the East Fremantle list now. Looks out of date but hopefully EF posters can tidy it up.
