With the greatest of respect to the previous posters on this topic let me point out that the ones investigating the murder, the police, have stated unequivocally at this point in time there is no evidence to indicate that this is a terrorist act.

SS- correct, but the right would interpret the secular provision in a way that churches were seen as consistent with traditional French culture -- an undeniable fact.

Bob said no one from the Middle he didn't say no muslims. He is happy to have indonesians in who he says although muslim respect their visa's and have no trouble assimilating.

In this particular case, this bloke is simply a criminal and should be treatted as such by the authorities, it matters little what he is allegged to have shoutted to gain fame.

He is a French national, so in his particular case, Katter's proposals could not be applied to him, unless of course we adoptted an 'administrative rule aimed at vettting French Arabs.

I don't think it is too much of a stretch to suggest, that in relation to immigration, the Commonwealth government already has effectively implementted an 'administrative rule' especially during the Syrian Crisis: they acceptted only Christian refugees.
