Hopefully Freo can target someone like Shoenmakers DD. It appears he's about thrid in line for a permanent spot in the hawks backline and would be very useful at the dockers given his age.

a couple of years ago he turned the ball over way too easily but after coming back from his knee reco he's been much better and he's also bulked up. at 23 or 24 reckon he's worth having a look at and comes out of contract at the end of 2015...so freo might only need to give up a second or third round draft pick.

I'm not sure a side like hawthorn would be interested in any freo trade bait...its not as though they're struggling down near the bottom of the ladder and want to inject some experience.

yep...hawks are pretty well served in the back half with lake, gibson, birchall, spangher, suckling, stratton, hodge and now maybe frawley..so reckon he'd be looking at his options as well if you consider litherland and whitecross can't get a game either . clarko has also thrown him forward this year so provides plenty of options. freo will need to do something and maybe he's part of the answer.

Good call BC re Shoenmakers. Started his career well then did his knee, certainly worth a look, good size can play both ends. The hard part again is, getting these guys over to Perth.

Hawks could well move him forward as a backup and help out Roughie. Unless of course they need him in a deal to get Frawley.
