They've been saying this for years. The other option they mentioned was to merge Subi & Claremont because they have no supporters. They would like to turn it back into an eight team comp.

Could see both happening actually. Sad times

It will be interesting to see what the WAFC come up with in respect to the findings of the recent reviews and what strategies they have in the pipeline for the growth and survival of the WAFL competition if any?

Claremonts amazing junior development pipeline plus Subi's money and management skills, the Western Cats will win the next 20+ flags.

Wont happen, Subi don't need to. Like in the AFL only a couple of financially struggling clubs will be forced/coerced into a merge if it ever happens.

I tipped this last year, its in a few of my posts, its almost a certainty to happen going forward, but a members vote will have to be taken.
