Time for the old bloke to go - he looked like a rabbit in the headlights. But then, he had 21 mates out there in the same boat! Hawks - what a powerful performance. There's a lot of "expert" media personalities out there that look like dickheads now.

Hodge was the only Hawks player I had money on so I ended up in the green. Thanks Hodgy!
As for Goodes, he was far from the worst player from Sydney. They were yuck!

Nice work Yolo....agree about Goodes too, he was far from their worst and at the start of the third he at least attempted to lift & get something going for his side, just doesn't have the physical capabilities to carry his team like he used to. However you feel about him on a personal level, the bloke has been an amazing player for a long time.

Apart from the fact that you cashed in, did the right bloke win the Norm Smith...I had Mitchell ahead of Hodge & Lewis in no particular order. Thought he was just that little bit slicker and a class above anyone else on the field on the day. Hodgey's 2 goals probably landed him the award however I still felt Mitchell was the most important player out there. Nevertheless either of them 3 would have been worthy winners.

^^Couldnt agree more on the Norm Smith. I actually had Mitchell down as the winner as well. I just thought when the game was on the line (in the first half) he was outstanding and was almost the difference between the 2 teams. However I think Hodge won it because Mitchell tapered off in the second half where as Hodge kept the foot on the accelerator so perhaps he got noticed a bit more?
