With 3 Rounds to go its taken a twist with Swans winning over WCE. WP & P now have a 2 game buffer, WP with a little % advantage, what is everyone's thoughts now ???

If Perth can beat West Coast and SF can beat Peel this Saturday, I think you can lock in the top 5. If Perth lose, it may put them in some danger as their percentage is not great.
For a change all games this weekend start at the same time 2.15 on Saturday.

Wouldn't think WC will make any changes this week so WCER should field a very similar team to the one that lost to Swans, if so Perth should win comfortably. SF v Peelmantle will be closer but if Souths can play anywhere near their potential they should get the chocolates and as Mikeh says the 5 is locked away, just 4th & 5th to be sorted. Personally I hope Perth gets 4th so they can host at Lathlain which will mean a bumper crowd as many non aligned would go to Lathlain but not to South Gero.

PFC have WCER, EF and Peel. That would have to be considered an easy run home. If any other club was sitting two games in the five with those three games to come it would be a lock.

In fact with the way PFC is actually playing in last few weeks, it's a lock.

I too am praying for fourth for the home final and to give WP a long awaited beating - in a final when it matters!!

STT, I like your optimism but given we have kicked 7 and 6 goals in our last two games I am rather more apprehensive. We need to kick 10-12 as a bare minimum. As per DD's goal kicking thread, it is hard to see where those extra 3-5 goals are going to come from.

From memory we kicked 15 against Souths? Subi and Claremont backlines v good. BC reckons the key to subi and he knows footy. And that Smallwood from Claremont will be afl next year.

Swan Districts did the league a massive favour basically it's going to force both AFL mobs to fetch three wins each to make the finals and they've got to hope either West Perth and/or Perth lose all their three

If Perth can't win any of their last 3 games they seriously don't deserve a finals spot.....2 game buffer and your last 3 games v lower teams.....seriously how easy is that run home......
