Hi guys

Following on from one of the topics on the Subiaco forum relating to players who played over 100 games from 1975-1983 and a couple further requests, I've added a new page to my Player Records page where you can choose a team - or all teams - and a start and end season to view a list of all players and number of games played during that period of time.

Remember my player records are complete only to 1965 for all teams and from 1947 for South Fremantle and Swans from inception in 1934.

The page can be accessed from the menu via Player Records links or direct from link below.

Don Langsford no surprise played the most games for us in the 80s (nearly 200) but was quite surprised he was nearly 60 games ahead of Don Holmes in 2nd, he was a very dependable, durable, quality player was Langers....oh for the 2 Dons to be playing nowadays.

Also just checked as well on the site 9 of our lowest 26 scores of all time (1934-2019) have occurred in the last 3 years (2016-2019) alone....absolutely not good enough and action has to be taken immediately!

Holmes played 23 games for Eagles in that time and with his concussion injuries he wouldve missed a few - Langsford never seemed t miss many games through injury and of course even though he was in original Eagles squad didnt get a game for them.

It’s getting beyond a joke our inability to kick a score - game plan seems to be limit the opposition from scoring to lessen the damage - but kicking 2, 3, 4 or 5 games a game seems to be happening way too often these days. Scoring in general is at its lowest since 1927 - teams average points per game in 2019 is 70.58 with EP, EF and SD all averaging below 60 points per game!

Yeah Ric the pathetically low scoring especially from us has turned me right off the game of late.
I might as well go watch soccer now the scoring is not much different.
