I would have thought that would be the least of their problems. Given recent revelations of a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the melbourne outlet could face a parliamentary inquiry.

I guess I need to throw out there, Ben Symonds would know that in the USA you can not go anywhere without being asked for ID. Complaining wont change the answer there so why should it be different here?

So until we know the truth we don't know the answer, but if he was asked for ID and refused as crown said he was, why the sooking on Instagram? if he was racially proifiled then surely he can buy a good lawyer with all his money to get video footage of the incident and prove it

From that comment I take it you don’t know much about Ben Simmons the person and the basketballer. He is born and raised here and regards himself as an Australian. He wants nothing more than to play for his country. But he also just signed a 240 million dollar contract and he has areas of his game he needs to work on and his club , the Philadelphia 76ers have traded heavily to assemble a potential championship winning team. It’s high stakes and would cost him a large chunk of his salary if he sustained a serious injury. He only played the last bit of his first season as the No1 pick due to an injury.

Maybe a bit more to this, I heard that Simmons was at Crown to attend an Adam Goodes hosted event, so the more cynical amongst us could think that this was all a stunt to raise the issues that Adam promotes? Who knows, I hope not.

He was rumored to be staying at the crown towers free of charge too?
