Cheers Mark. I was looking at the WAFL injury site not the Swans one so I know where to go in the future!

He did it early in the 2nd qtr against Perth at Lathlain a month or so back Mike. We and he were dominating that game early on until Cip went off and then were overrun in the last 40 minutes or so.

That is a rather long injury list MO especially the long term injured which factored in with the players who have left in the last month or so is really hurting our playing depth for the 2 senior sides and doesnt include Riley Garcia who injured his acl on Wednesday playing for the WA 18s.

Umm did your club require its ressies to play at 9.20 am? These are grown men, not under 12s. Shame on swans.

Firstly and most importantly I hope young Tony Olongo is OK. It was disconcerting to see an ambulance on the ground during play. Hopefully not as serious as it appeared. Secondly well done to East Perth who showed all the guts spirit and determination that my team are totally lacking. If it had not been for their poor kicking for goal they would have had a 10 goal victory. As for Swans I only have one word. Pathetic.

Pathetic is not strong enough.
To only kick one goal after half time is Piss Poor. Though I don't know how we expected to kick goals when you have all teh forwards running up the ground.
When we do get the ball the only people to kick the ball to are all running backwards with their hands in the air so their team mates can see them, u/10's stuff.
Ajang Ajang was terrific, his aggression and marking presence around the ground unnerved our bigger blokes.
Who ever instructs us to not clear the ball from the backline and try and chip across the goals, sack him now,. Why when the opposition has only kicked a couple of goals do we decide let the other team in by gifting them goals by kicking the ball better to opposition forwards than they do.
All in all another poor coaching and playing performance.
I too hope that Olango is going to be ok. It was as bad as I have seen at a WAFL game, he went like Phil Hughes after he copped a blow to the neck. .

That was the most inept last 2 and a half quarters of supposed WAFL League football ever witnessed today by SD.
It is now quite obvious we have no game plan whatsoever and it it might be time to look elsewhere before we are extinct because we are no longer relevant to the greater WAFL community.

I have never been so despondant in the many years I have been following SDFC. Today they ran for 2 quarters and looked like they were capable of playing some decent footy. After half time they decided to give up running for each other and allow East Perth to swarm all over them. School boy skill errors, Handballing to team mates under pressure and zero tackling pressure . The frustrating thing is that they have shown during games that they are capable of at least some effort and intensity. But they just do this when they feel like it and when the opposition start to fight back, they roll over like friendly puppy dogs. The margin of 8 points flattered us in a massive way today. East Perth were dominating but couldnt kick straight.

It is blatently obvious to me that the players are not accountable for their performances. They are unfit, soft and seem not to have an alternative game plan if bombing the ball into the forward line doesnt work. And don't give me that rubbish about young players, some of the worst mistakes were being made by the experienced guys and East Perth had just as many young guys running around out there but what they had was a team spirit that seemed to bond them together when Olongo was taken off. They are a club who are rejoicing in their new found independence from the AFL and are going in the right direction in contrast to Swans.
