a sneaky chance for Swan Districts to grab a win at home
would make the ladder very interesting around 5th to 9th

And Swan Districts go into the match paying two dollars 50.
Whilst Claremont are sitting on 1$ and 52c.
If Swans were to win, it would lift them to 6th position on the League ladder just one game behind West Perth.
All of which would make the week 11 fixturing very interesting.

Claremont have been massively overrated since Harris got there. This year they beat ef, wp and ep in rounds 1 to 3. What a dream start to the fixturing in 2019. Since then have beaten wce and peel who are both ordinary. Also lost to wce, haha. SD definitely maybe.

Someone was telling me Swans have drifted out to 3 dollars 13.
Apparently the Tigers are sitting on 1$ 33c,
Out of the last five encounters, Swans have 1 win to Claremont 4. Two of those wins are a goal or less.

From what I can see Claremont game plan seems to be to stage for free kicks as often as possible. Umps to their credit not getting sucked in.

Swans started well with the only 3 goals of the first qtr.And lead to fairly late in the 3rd qtr.Looking at the stats at half time.Claremont where on top everywhere bar the scoreboard.
After half time Swans lack of possession and slow ball movement. Gave us only a dozen inside 50's in the second half.Your not going to beat a side with a really well drilled defence .When you bomb it fwd slowly hoping for a big mark.TBO I think the coach gets the best out of what he's got available.
If payers don't run fwd of the play ,you can't stop congestion all over the ground. The way we play stops us from getting flogged.Rugby higher scoring now than Wafl+Afl footy.

Lets not mince words here. That was an awful game of footy. Claremont barely got out of 3rd gear apart from the last quarter, Swans gave it a real crack in the first half and had enough of the midfield ball but the delivery to the forwards and the general team system was non existent and made things easy for Hamp, Busher and others to mop up. The 2nd half was all one way traffic and even though we were still only 1 point down at 3 quarter time it might as well have been 61 such was the lack of self belief in the group at that stage. It just didnt seem like a Swans team running around Bassendean today. The mighty fighting black and whites that I have been following since I was a young boy, even if they were in the lower end of the ladder which has been many times since 1970, they would always make an opposition earn their victory at Bassendean. Today Claremont were toying with us like a cat with a mouse, just doing enough to get the 4 points. I feel for guys like Notte and Riggio who have given the club their best over a long period of time but Swans have now lost 17 of their last 20 games and as a supporter I am losing faith in the football department

Another insipid coaching display.
What successful game plan includes having no forwards when kicking with he breeze to the Guildford end in the 3rd qtr.
One of Kohlmann and Noble should not move out of the 50 metre arc, Claremont kept players back and while our forwards went wandering up the ground like they were on some sort of pilgrimage walk and consistently cleared the ball back onto the fat side of the ground.
Though it was good to see the fireman and teacher out among the faithful having a good look at the joke of a football dept they have created over the 6 years of their board tenure.

I thought you guys would go very close today and watched on tv. Like some above I thought not a great game and could not work out why sd game plan seemed to involve bombing ball to Claremont defensive line at half back. I don’t think Claremont toyed with you at all, they were average and very beatable today.
