If swans don't win this one they could be the wooden spooners.The beagles have a pretty ordinary side again.Only brander comes in and Matty Allen missing apparently.Last week they had 16 eagles and 6 top ups and got caned especially in the midfield.Their midfield is their achiles heel.Young and not much quality.You have them at the right time.

I see ex Claremont player Chaz Flint will make his debut for the Eagles reserves. Apparently was BOG in an interstate amateur carnival a few years back. I will be interested to see how he goes.

Being a low scorng side we always give our opponents a chance.But we where the better side today.Good long kicking out of defence.Matched the Afl big body's in the air.Good open fwd line.Some mids in the high 20's Hampson+Riggio.But need two more kids with footy to challenge the top teams.
Lucky the Eagle fill in players arnt quiet up to scratch.Which will probably keep them out of the finals.And as week in and week out the same Swans best players.Italiano battled at ground level.And Kohlmann was a good target up fwd.

Awful game but I will take the win. The closest Swans have got to a four quarter performance since the West Perth game. Having said that they did their best to give the Eagles a sniff in the last 10 minutes after they had established a 5 goal lead. Luckily West Coast could only manage 2-4 when they could have easily made it a very nail biting last few minutes.
Swans midfielders had much more of the ball today. Hampson would be miles in front in the Swan medal at the moment (although he may be having a week off due to his off the ball hit on Grey), Riggio played his best game of the season, Turner and Cipro were also prominent. Leigh Kohlmann is establishing himself as a forward with 9 marks today,many of them contested. He has a great pair of hands. Patrick Italiano is certainly a wholehearted player, he needs to work on his disposal a bit from what I observed today. I liked the move of Glass- Mccasker into the.forward line and I think that could be a tactic used in future games as I think he gave the defenders something else to think about.and the Swans forward line looked a bit more open when he was in the mix up there.
Amazingly,thanks to West Perths victory over Peel,we are only one game out of the top 5 and with a good percentage as well. The bottom half of the ladder has really tightened up with the Sharks starting to hit their straps

Spot on Mike, will take a win every day of the week but we are still a long way off from the other WAFL teams in my honest opinion especially when we do not bring the level of effort and intensity needed at WAFL League level.
We at least brought that level required yesterday especially early in the piece.
Swans boy Jarrod Cameron was very good yesterday for WCE Ressies just a step or 3 ahead of his opponent all day in reading the play and class, it was a strange match up though I must say?!

BH in the 3rd qtr a swans player got on top of a pack in front of the members.Didn't pull the mark down but got pretty high.I was to far away from it do you know the player.

Brayden Noble it was GTR was a massive leap but just could not hang on to it.
