A day of reckoning on Saturday, not just for the pollies but for the Swannies boys as well. All of the improvement of the past few weeks starting with the good second half against the Demons, followed by the win over West Perth , then the brave effort against Subiaco will come to nothing unless we can beat the Sharks. I think I can speak for all Swans supporters when I say that we have had a gutful of "Honourable losses". Now only wins will be good enough.

Amazing to think that we have only won 1 game out of 5 and yet our percentage is still over 100%! Not getting our percentage smashed by Subiaco was a nice change this time. Swans are not far off being very competitive for a finals spot but to state the bleeding obvious we need some more W's rather than L's to get us in that position. East Fremantle will be no pushover as they have already shown signs of improvement under Moynahan. Apart from the one shocker in the Derby, they have been pretty competitive and had their chances to win the games against Peel and West Perth.

Pickering will probably stay with the same 22 that pushed the Lions for 3 quarters unless there have been some injuries. Mitchell Bain continues to push hard for a spot and he will no doubt get a run very soon if not this week. I notice that Howlett played against Subiaco, his stats werent brilliant but I would be interested to hear from anyone who was there how he went and if you think he could add value to the team. Hampson will no doubt be pumped to play against his most recent ex club but on the other hand I am sure the Sharks boys will do their best to make life uncomfortable for him as well. Not sure if Boekhurst will be playing but if he is I'm sure he will get a warm welcome from the crowd in the can bar.

Should be an enjoyable game with a few sub plots. Weather looks nice and sunny if a bit cool.

The Ressies played their best game of the season against the previously unbeaten Subi last game finally playing near their potential which was good to see as that will put the pressure on the League side top perform or face being dropped.

If Swans bring that same manic pressure to EF as you did against Subi you will have a big win. Should be able to run out the 4 qtrs this time given the opposition.

Should be three good games between these two sides......the colts if all state boys are available should be a great show case of WA talent.....EF reserves are 2 /3 with all three losses by a kick.....SD as BH said came up trumps v a strong Subi reserves side. The league game will no doubt be a bit of redemption for either Hampson or Monaghan, tho the former seems to have more to say on the matter than the latter. George will no doubt pick up his usual mountain of possessions, up to the EF mids to make sure they are ineffective. I have no doubt Simpson will play his best game for SD v his old club.....not sure how he has gone as there hasn't been much talk media wise or even SD forum wise on the fella's form. No doubt Boekhorst will be looking to put in a good performance at his old old stomping ground. Has the makings of good battle....obviously SD go in favourites after their last game v Subiā€¦.to say EF need a win is an understatement, think with Griffen back and a few others I believe EF will probably have their strongest side all year....good luck to both sides.....

Looks like Reidy is out with that knee issue that hampered him late in the Subi game, a real shame as I thought he has really injected some enthusiasm into the side since coming back.
Ellard, Bain, Italiano & Smith are the Ins at this stage against EF.

Can anyone at Basso explain the Face Book add headed "Swans,Hampson host Sharks". Why would you give the Sharks any fuel whatsoever ???

Wasn't/isn't there some long running fued with Swans higher ups and specifically Bill?
I seem to remember some happenings in the rooms - Can Bar etc several years back?
Could there be a person/s at Swans who is driving the Hampson issue faster and harder than needs be??

Just seems a little petty and malicious if as you say there a post on the Swans page?
I would guess that Bill WGAF...

thoughts?

Well another lacklustre performance as the season finally slips away.
I refer to my pre- season comments.
Nothing will change unless there is a concerted effort to remove the numpties running the show.

To George, Josh and everyone at the SDFC, thank you for putting everyone at the EFFC out of their misery...we salute your grand gesture.
