Because we don't live in a vacuum. You of all people BH should be aware of that given the NUMBER of times you have commented on Emperor Barnett's decision to build a new stadium at its current location. You are making a political comment on and I quote "on a great footy-sport chat forum".

One political topic has been created in the last week or two and apart from the above exception most political posts have been restricted to this one topic. No-one is forcing anyone to read or comment on a political topic. If you are not interested and that is entirely your prerogative.

This may come as a shock to you 42 but 99% of posters to this forum could not give a stuff about politics and certainly do not come on here to read or post on the most boring of all topics-politics!
As for posting about our brand new world class Perth Stadium is that not where all the states major sports events are now played?!?!

Firstly there is no compunction to read a topic about politics on this site. None whatsoever. It may be your view that politics is boring: a bit strange in view of the amount politics plays in everyone's lives INCLUDING building new stadia. One can only wonder what the location of where major sports events are played has anything to do with how appropriate it is to engage in political discussion on this forum.

Let me summarise: if you don't want to engage in a political topic on this site - don't read the posts contained therein. Similarly, if you are not interested in a particular person's posts (including mine) don't read them.

No, there is a General section that clearly states for any subjects not football related. You already recieved a ban for criticising this forum previously Leather Stops. Do you want me to make that permanent?
