This is a side that is certainly on the rise and can look forward to a successful season next year.A few old timer still going around,Reiwoldt, Motagna,Sam Gilbert,Dempster,Fisher,.But a few of those may still have a few years left in their aging bodies.
They have a range of good middle aged players with experience,StephensSavage,Geary,Roberton(who has impressed me) and a few others.
A load of young kids who have put their hands up to be part of this team going forward.Bruce , Membrey,McCartin,Minchington Billings, etc all look like long term players.
But like most sides it will depend on how they run with injury during the year.
but all together, if I were a Saints fan I would be very happy.

To those young kids you can add Acres, Dunstan, Gresham, Goddard, Lonie, Newnes & Ross.
Injury has crueled Freeman plus Jake Carlisle is to slot in.. A very impressive list.

Shame to see the Sainters go out last night especially having to lose to those self entitled Tigers. Saints were up against it with losing a couple of key players and the Tiges getting Lynch back. Lynch is under review for dropping a knee into a Saint but rest assured the AFL will look after one of their own. Another case of goal kicking accuracy deciding the game, the Tiges could barely miss and kicked several out of their collective freckles whereas the Saints couldn't find the barn let along hit the side of one.
