Always an anticipated game at Basso, truly one of my favourite grounds, second only to Lotons!

Elsewhere I went with the Messerschmidt of the 3 wheel variety and the fridge on 4 wheels but the game is important for both teams but for very different reasons.

Swans need to win to get some faith back in themselves and their supporters to get that same faith. We need to do better a LOT better than we have in the past weeks. We need to look long and nt buggeriise around with pissant little kicks sideways and handballs designed to send the receiver to hospital. We need to have a game plan that capitalises on the plethora of kicks a couple of players accumulate (and yes I know I have made one a scapegoat in my mind but ..... ). It will be interesting to see who plays with the injury toll being what it is and how the coach sees the way forward, one purely of development for next year or one of wins as the priority.

The ressies will be a test given the injuries for us, who gets elevated from the colts and fills in and the fallout from that into the colts.

I am looking forward to the day but for the cartoon being shown at 12.05!

Grump - the colts game is listed for Bunbury on Saturday so a good opportunity for both clubs to play as many local kids as possible from their squads.

Grump, hope your right, get the ball moving forward, not sideways, backwards and all over the shop. Give the forwards a even money chance, they lead, make space and doesn’t get honoured.
Frustrating, for the players and the loyal fans.

We had a hamburger sizzle for the boys last night and it was interesting to see Richard Graham there with his lad on the track, it would be great to see him get a game and show his undoubted talent.

Yep it is a great thing for all of the southwest a region both of our clubs benefit from.

The most important news from today rather than the result is the mail from the rooms is that Tony Olongo is ok

Well done to your guys for the fightback although EP did their best to keep Swans interested by missing some easy shots at goal!

The reality mikeh is both sides are battlers, but from outsiders perspective that even though we're virtually starting from scratch this year Swans group appears to look more inexperienced than ours
