Well done to you if you were able to take a metaphorical hubcap (and hopefully more) off the bookies' Merc, royallucky.
Fully agree that Dobbo's capacity to win the one-on-ones makes him very dangerous up forward.
I had a feeling he was in for a good night when he kicked the opening goal of the match within the first minute (I stand corrected on the timing).

And he had a direct assist with 4 other majors to go with the 3 that he booted.

There were also a couple of great goals kicked from set-shots deep in the right forward-pocket at the Tech School end, royallucky.
Ajang Ajang and Joel Houghton, from memory.

Well done RL!!!

Seriously though if anyone out there is an EP member could you please find out why the game was played when it was. A crowd of 400 is absolutely pathetic but hardly surprising. How was this allowed?? EP strike another blow against wafl.

Agree LuckyRoyal, the pressure around the ball by EP was relentless, and for Dobbo, great to see him get a run, now so versatile, can play just about everywhere with great effect, he was explosive, kicked 3 could have easily had 5. Great to hear the old chant as the boys walked off.

Is Townsend's estimate that 400 people were present accurate?
Is this the lowest WAFL crowd ever?
How was this situation allowed to occur?

STT agree it's strange timing but I think that due to this technically being an away game for EP (WCER dont play home games) and Subi having a home game on saturday, The eagles playing Friday night so WCER couldn't play then and maybe either eagles scheduled training on the Sunday or Leederville already booked for the WAFLW, they had little choice, but given it was technically an WCER home game they had the choice. Also Perth have the home game Saturday so Lathlain was not available.
generally the fixtures are a bit of a mystery, we have 10 teams over 2 rounds of 9 games but it seems impossible for the WAFC to have the teams play each other once at home and once away in repeat order, instead they are all over the place.

I see what you are saying SS, and you know a bit more than your average ep supporter evidently but I thought wce gave up the idea of a home game as a condition of entry. If that is right they wouldn't get to decide when to play would they. I would just like an ep member to find out from the club.

SS this bit occurs because the WAFC locks in the derbies on WA Day and locks in EF, SF on ANZAC Day. If they didn't do that then 2 rounds of 9 game sin sequential order would be a piece of...
