We need to rebound this week after a lacklustre performance against Souths. Our intensity needs to lift and skill level will have to be much better otherwise we'll be beaten again. Clanger a likely addition but not sure who'll miss out. It was good to see Kyle Halligan doing the runner's job last week although he did look a bit proppy. Claremont will be pumped and give themselves a good chance so it will be no walk in the park and losing two on the trot with basically the same squad as last year could see a tiny bit of pressure mounting on Wardman and the coaching group. Subi by 10 points although a loss wouldn't surprise.

I don't think we've beaten you since 2013. Hopefully Lee and Richardson back this week otherwise we're no hope

I think if you saw us last week against Souths ToOl you'd give yourself every chance.

Two top shelf midfields with the 2 best midfielders of the last decade in Horse & Bolton, should be a great game. Fine weather forecast so no excuses.
if Subi bring what they did against Souths I think Claremont have the ability to beat us comfortably but hopefully last week was a wake up call for the boys. Should see a few changes with Clang sure to come in, mayby for mayo who despite having great potential has struggled a bit and Clang can help out in the ruck, Kennedy had a shocker last week but that is very unusual for him so he will hold his spot, miller might make way for Rhode but that's probably about it. Just need a good kick up the freckle to get their minds back on the job.

I'm glad you had the same views about Kennedy last week SS as I thought it was just me. It seemed like he turned the ball over with just about every possession but as you say, he's normally very good so hopefully he'll rebound. I'd be surprised if Mayo goes out but if they drop Lawrence or similar for Clang, it will make our forward 6 very tall which is not ideal....so maybe Mayo is the only option to go back.

Wheeler and Rhode should come back into the side this week. I have heard Halligan should play next week and I would assume that will be through the 2's for at least a couple. Maybe back into the 1's after the bye.

Benny Newton missed last week as well with food poisoning apparently so he should be another in. You'd think blokes that didn't see a lot of it last week such as Miller, Lawrence, Latham, Hoskins and maybe Mayo in the cross hairs to go out.

Hoskins usually gets a run with role but looked out of sorts last week. We will need someone to run with Bolton, not that you can stop the guy, he's just that good but maybe keep him to a low 20's game.

The other thing to bear in mind is this could be Deluca's and/or Mayo's last game with the AFL midseason draft next week and both invited to have medicals. The AFL club's wouldn't have done that unless they're seriously considering recruiting them. According to this 5 clubs have spoken to Deluca with either Ports or Sydney the most likely to pick him up which will be a big loss to Subi.

Good luck to any of the lads that get picked up but may only be for half a season. Looks Like deluca to Sydney which would likely be more long term. Cant believe any of the AFL clubs not looking at Bolton.
But the mid season draft is just another disrespectful insult to state leagues. If AFL clubs cant manage their lists and cover injuries then too bad. They all have either reserves teams in SANFL, WAFL, Neafl or affiliate clubs like Peelmantle, they should only be able to top up mid season from those sources.
