How does a team who are apparently fighting for a spot in the top 8 , score the first 5 goals of a home game against the bottom team, see their opposition lose a key player with injury and still concoct to lose that game to a far more desperate team?. This is after losing to another team in the bottom 4 last week. Too many passengers I suspect including in the coaches box. This is such a familiar story for long suffering Dockers supporters.

They started thinking about next week at quarter time. A funny game footy. Nothing to worry about. Will beat West Coast in 6 days

I follow Freo but couldn't agree more Mike...I reckon there's some blokes in the current 22 who must have compromising photos of Lyon tucked away.

They were also without Patrick Cripps (who would be leading their F&B by the length of Guildford Rd) and McKay their leading goalkicker this season so far.

Ethan Hughes didn’t help the cause. We were 15 points up with about five and a half minutes to go when he chose to kick a banana about 35 metres away on the full when he was on the goal line between the goal and point post. He should have rushed it through. Simpson goes back and nails it from the boundary.

Freo looked cooked to me.Good players injured and some players playing injured. They would of fixed Carlton up a month ago by 5 goals+.Maby time to elevate some of the players going well at Peel.

Gutsy effort by Carlton....as BH says no Cripps and McKay plus losing Charlie early on....considering how important Cripps is to Carlton it would be like Freo playing without Fyfe and Mundy....Freo obviously may rue that loss come finals time....

Turn those losses around against the bottom three teams and Freo would be sitting third only percentage behind Collingwood and ahead of WCE....unbelievable.
