Lachie Neale is not an ex Swans player. He is from South Australia and played for Swans when interstate AFL listed players were farmed out across different WAFL clubs. Were you the guy that rang 6 PR the other day claiming Neale is an ex Swans player?

He is a former SDFC player regardless of where he came from and how as he pulled on a League jumper for us in 15 games.
But no he wasnt a SDFC junior from our zone.

So Perth can claim Fraser Gehrig and Sam Butler as "former Perth players" BH? Not for me I won't claim that glory for being
the host club for those boys magnificent AFL careers.

Regardless of where they came from they still both played League footy for Perth so of course they are former Perth players...you are taking it all a bit literally DD no one I know has claimed Lachie as a SD product of our zone just that he played WAFL League Football for us.
By the way I would hardly call Sam Butler's career as "magnificent"...serviceable yes, magnificent most certainly not!

Apparently the Dockers have been tracking a Subiaco player named Jack Mayo and may pick him up in the draft tonight. Can any of the Subiaco supporters let us know a bit about him?

Yes Mike...he's around 194cm and 80 odd kgs and he's played a couple of league games this year and has been quite serviceable at full forward....very athletic and a lot of potential. Played in the colts flag last year and doesn't surprise me he's being looked at....I'll be nice and pissed off though if he goes to Freo and plays for FART.

Cheers BC, sounds like he has potential. He is also being looked at by Hawthorn and they have an earlier pick than the Dockers so you may be spared the annoyance of seeing him play for Peel against Subiaco this week! Sucks doesn't it...….

Sure does Mikeh, especially when the club gets nothing, zero, nada for their players, both came up through our colts system, Deluca before the WAFC take over of the Colts and mayo did 1 year under the takeover so significant investment in both players. Not sure id the club got anything for Deluca back when the Dorks picked him up. Massive loss for us given he's been our best and most consistent mid, just shading Horse before he did a hammy.

Instead of getting a ready to go player , used it to get in first on a development player. Not what the midseason draft was supposed to be for.
