Massive game this one, they are virtually unrecognisable to the side we last played a few weeks ago and have brushed aside a few teams. Our form has been pretty good and a great come back will galvanise the team even further. I think we can take it up to them as our defence is in good shape atm.

I shouldn't say this, but have pencilled West Perth in for a narrow win. Falcons efficiency level has been steadily improving on a weekly basis. And currently sitting above the average. West Perth's offence rate is currently running at 22% whilst those other pricks are on 20. And West Perth have scored 914 points thus far and 879 Against. Would like to see the defence tighten a bit more. However it seems to be doinga fairly good job. A win here would be fantastic because they have a Bye in a couple of weeks. Can't see Wests winning by a huge margin, but every point in excess will help the %.

WAAG,

The worst of the 879 points average would have been in the first 4 weeks I reckon :) We have since won 6 from 8.

Going to be weird playing another club other than Perth at Lathlain, but that is the times we live in.
With this mob it comes down to who they are putting out on the paddock , how much game time they give them and if they are really trying to win the game of footy, we need to beat them for our own interests but it does not have the same passion as when you play one of the other 7 traditional clubs.

Falcon, have you swapped the venue for this one? I thought all WCER games were away games, my fixtures have you playing at Joondy. Should be a tight game going on both teams recent form so home ground advantage will be important.

Yeh mate, they sold the game to WC what ever that means, not sure of the details or reasons but the game will be at Lathlain.

My understanding is that West Perth would get any revenue without having to pay the costs of staging the match which would be pretty attractive I would think, given venues west charges for home games at AJ

Did not realise West Perth's Home ground advantage is currently quite poor. Changing the venue may not be such a bad idea. There is only 3 clubs running with a good Away ground advantage and the Facons are one of them. Which suggests West Perth are playing better in Away matches which is unusual for them. When playing Away, the Away ground advantage is 11 points above the average. Twenty two points being the difference between West Perths Home ground and Away ground advantage is a sizeable amount. And West Perth's For score on average of 83 points on the road which is higher than at Home.
