haha...yes...I meant one of the home games is actually an away fixture for us against EP....but I am looking forward to travelling to Lathlain to see what changes have been made since I was there last year.

Also for a number of seasons in the 80s all sides played each other at each home ground and the 3rd @ Subi Oval, it was great as a young fella because you got to go to Subi 7 times a season at a minimum.

I don't remember that, I always thought it was played each 3 times - 2 at home and once away and then it reversed the following year. Certainly don't recall East and South Fremantle shifting home and away fixtures against each other to Subiaco Oval.

Lads, this is no defence of the football commission, but the fixtures have been buggerrd about since the late 1970; in 1979, EF played four or five home games in a row, something, which according to the scribes of the day, explained EF's good start to the season. Just one more example: Subi did not play SD at league headquarters until round 17- 18.

in 1979 EF played five of the first seven, including three of the four finalists from 1978 at home; they played the PFC away and Cl.
