STT: EP have had a worse zone then the Demons; Perth would have won the flag if players such as Bateman and all the others had played 110 games; I don't think EP would have won a flag in any circumstances.

Imagine if pfc had something within 20ks of the coast. Ark it’s the zone. If you go for a drive down albany highway it is grim.

I 100% agree about the zone but that had nothing to do with the first 5 games. What’s happened in the last 6 weeks?

First thing we need to do is get a thick black permanent marker and put a line through numbers 8, 16 and 29. I would also say that Bryan, Browne, Payne, Rogers, Eyres, Langdon and Hill are borderline at best. Next week I'd bring in Marlin, Bennell and Burke and one of Henderson, Horan or Hansen. The policy of focusing on our zone has given us a core of players in Ninja, Byrne, Sinclair, Taylor, Leggett and Edmonds, but we need quality recruits, and plenty of them. I was cringing today seeing, at times, Browne, Cary and Payne lining up in the middle. That sort of midfield will get you nothing. With 5-6 real quality recruits some of those borderline players would probably play better with good players around them.

The State game? -- Performances have not been the best since that time.

Sadly, it's hard to make a case for us making the finals now. I think we can take it as given that WP are back from their early season woes and will finish 4th. Peel need to win two more games than us, and they have a soft run home with 2 games against SD, plus EF, EP and Perth again. There's five wins. Our only winnable games are EP and EF. The key may well be playing the Eagles. We have to hope the league team is at full strength when Peel play them and beset by injury when we play them. Otherwise, we have to hope that Peel themselves unravel as a result of injuries. As things stand, we are likely to drop out of the five in 3-4 weeks. Sad for us, and for the WAFL, with the same teams fronting up for finals year after year.

Jeez anyone can tell you that. We had some awesome luck, better than in years and a healthy squad. Could have easily been 3-2 or 2-3. Now depth being tested.

Bad zone?
Fair enough.
Do something about it.
Yes our management has been lacking for 40 years.
Time for the new regime to put up.
As promised.

Mate wafc has not even reviewed the zones for a decade, they fair dinkum don’t want to know. We could have twiggy and packer as prez and vice would make no difference.
