STT, Let's concentrate on our own team. The new saying is get our own hose in order before telling other people to do the same. Remain a good man though and get through the gates at Lathlain
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I think the only Claremont fan who contributes regularly on Ozfooty is Tiger of Old, so a bit hard for him to carry the can for the whole club. Hopefully this will be a reasonably competitive game but having seen the Tigers struggle to shake off my wooden spoon mob a couple of weeks ago I have my doubts.Maybe they've improved since then.

Mikeh considering Cl beat EF by 10 pts and Subi beat EF the following week by 70 odd pts, can see Cl getting within 5 goals of Subi TBH....

I think Claremont did really well. They were 12 points down at ½ time and finished the match only 8 points in arrears. Being Subiaco's narrowest winning margin. Claremonts percentage only dropped 6.5%. Not sure if both teams had any outs. Claremont seem to be in a good space and are going to be a handful come Finals time.

Very intense physical game, fair bit of sniping from both sides and a few bloodrules so both teams were fierce at the ball and the man, Subi's slightly better ball use was the difference in the end, but CL should go deep into September. Dont know who the outs were for CL but Subi were without, Heal, Litherland, Rhode (thats half the backline) and Walters plus we lost Kennedy in the 3rd qtr, so a good effort by the team and a number of youngsters getting the chance to show their wares.
