One of the all time great surfers, 85, 86 and 90 world champ, the son of legendary Californian and early Hawaiian charger Pat Curren, and had a beautiful style. Famously rode a wave from main break at Margaret river all the way into the river mouth during a monster swell in 1990.
Also the name of our new recruit, ex St Kilda and Sandringham.

I heard that Mitch Andrews has retired. That would be a huge loss if that's the case.

Jeez I hope not Roman, that would leave us without a ruckman and a club favourite. I think his solar panel business is keeping him extremely busy though so he may be struggling with the demands of WAFL.

What about Jeremy Goddard TOO?....was a draft candidate a couple of years back, seems to have been overlooked draft wise, though seem to dominate at the U/18 comp from memory.....hopefully he can step up for you Cl boys

Happy to eat my words about this bloke, his second half of the season has been excellent and been a big reason for our push back up the ladder

Hey ToOl….I was really impressed with your mob a couple of weeks ago and think they should probably have beaten Subi all things being equal. That was an 80 odd point turnaround from round 4....what do you think has been the catalyst for such an improvement and do you see them going deep into the finals which I think they probably will based on current form?

Mostly just the continued development and gelling of the younger blokes Bc, there's been ten or eleven pretty young blokes in the side most weeks. Beau Maisters retirement turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Gilbert has been handy, he doesn't kick many bags but he presents strongly. At the other end Anton Hamp is in his prime and unexpectedly from my previous impressions has developed into one of the comps best key defenders. Young ruckman Ollie Eastland isn't a tall ruckman but can run and compete strongly and will get drafted. Jared Hardisty isn't the most polished of ball users but is a hard running, tackling bulldozer and must be some sort of a Sandover smoky. There's more I could mention but I digress..
Do I see us going deep into the finals? ... Jeez we are far from certain of even making them at the moment so I'm going to give a no comment there

Cheers mate. I too was impressed with Eastland, Gilbert and particularly Hardisty. I think from what I've seen you blokes will be thereabouts come the pointy end.
