these boys made the footy club very proud today and took a fair bit from Subiaco - but finished the game running all over them in the end
and when it got back to a goal it just sparked us , whole lot of the lads contributed everybody

Congrats Souths. Your boys were the better side all day. The difference in foot skills was noticeable as your guys rarely missed a target and we hardly hit one. Schloithe was the difference in the fist half, Pickett got going in the second whilst Drago and Higgins were huge all day. A deserved win.

Excellent team effort by the boys today. They never let up from go-to woe. We played with aggression and tenacity to win the ball today against a side that's rarely been seen. Subi didn't expect us to hit them hard today. They thought that we were just going to play 2 or 3 qtrs and fold as normal. Subi made errors that I've never seen before. Turning the ball over and quite a few out on the full. As silly as it sounds, this young team seem to run out games better than our star-studded teams that we had in the past. Footy is a funny game, so we take it one game at a time. I will savour the moment because wins like this don't come around too often. Great day all round for me as South and the Libs having great wins against all odds.

didn't let them get away apart from a couple of periods & the teamwork was outstanding at times resulted in a few good goals

Congrats to the Doggies, out ran, out tackled and out skilled us for 90% of the game, a really impressive performance.
