Probably not that unusual. The Mitchell one is amazing when you think about it. Broke all sorts of records for possessions to think how many times he twisted and turned and put his body in particular his knees under stress with opponents all around him trying to stop him. Then under a controlled training environment his knee gives way.

Connor Blakely is a big blow for Fremantle. He would have been the one most likely to step up to fill the void of Lachie Neale's departure. Thankfully it's not an ACL but serious hamstrings can take a long time to heal and there's the risk of a reaccurance.
