You're probably right StT but I don't put any faith into much of what is reported on the likes of the ABC either...so who knows what to believe these days? The author of the report at BAEconomics said he wasn't commissioned by the Libs to do the modelling so I'd be interested to know who did stump up for it. The very fact Shorten won't reveal Labor's costings as a bit of a worry and does tend to add some weight to the view that the policy will hurt the economy big time...by just how much? ...I guess we'll all find out in time.

Shorten doesn't understand his own policies.
During the great debate he stated that his policy on franking credits will not effect pensioners.
A pension is a fund into which a sum of money is added during an employee's employment years, and from which payments are drawn to support the person's retirement from work in the form of periodic payments.
Not all pensioners are gov't funded pensioners.
Denied their franking credits their income could fall to a level where they can apply for a partial aged govt pension.

Don't both the major party's have 40 billion holes in there policys. The government's tax cuts with the economy in decline. They claim an upturn in economic activity covers the tax cuts.
Labour looks a bit like Swiss cheese with holes in it everywhere.

Make no mistake about it a vote for Labor is a vote for the Greens. Is it just me or can anyone else see how choreographed Bill Shorten is in his facial expressions and body language and smiles of contempt that shows the absolute arrogance and cockiness of the man. Unfortunately the coalition have handed this flog a punter's chance at winning office and that is a very dangerous thing for our economy.

But Scott Morrison has shown in my opinion he is the right man to lead the country, it was messy how he got there but I think he is the right man to lead our country and I said exactly that to Ken Wyatt yesterday when I met him by chance after posting my vote early and what a nice straight up bloke Ken Wyatt is. Very lucky to have him representing my new electorate since I moved into the area last year and I hope he wins his seat and the government gets another term in office.

Shortarse came across to me as a phony in the debate and a smug arrogant prick.

I'm not a numbers man but when i saw Bill Shorten and Chris Bowen open their mouths while I was watching the ABC news this morning I am sure i saw bullshit spewing out of their mouths. Lower taxes and surpluses bigger than the current government is predicting. I'm almost hoping for a Labor victory by a vast majority so we can see them weave their magic. If Bill can pull that off he will certainly be the messiah and not just a naughty boy telling fibs.

Boats Bowen is a complete arse, he was a shambles as immigration minister and got busted back to the junior Training portfolio. The figures they are quoting are fantasy , they also don't factor in the cost of the carbon emmisions tax or what ever they are going to call it.

Theres little chance they will get most of their tax plans through the senate anyway as they will bring the economy to a grinding halt,.

I just want to know how the little prick is going to pay for all his promises. Methinks higher taxes, death tax, screwing the small businessman and retirees will be at the front of his tiny mind. If he gets in and he will, it will be like an accountant’s telephonist running the country’s finances. He was a stand over man as a unionist, but he’ll find those tactics won’t work in the real world.
