After D Trump's election I think the inner workings of the US minds is inexplicable.

Swany D,,will you be tuning into Mal and Q and A special this week, should make interesting viewing????

I will probably record it and watch it the following day. I am sure there will be a few Sky News (after dark) commentators who will be frothing at the mouth as they watch. By any metric Scott Morrison has been a dud of the highest order. I will be very interested to see if MT is unequivocal in his belief that Scott Morrison has "blood" on his hands with the latest coup. What will be interesting also if he is extremely critical of the path the Liberal Party took in view of the damage done to the ALP subsequent and consequent of the toppling of PMs during their time in government.

Hopefully, there will be a question about whether his $1.75 million donation was worth it.

Isnt great to see Labor Hero and the man the ALP Choose to be LEADER of their Party who came whithin an election of being our PM , the newest member of the Pauline Hanson's One NATION.

I look forward to John Hewson or another former Liberal Party leader doing the same...somehow I cant see it happening....

Latham a personal friend and supported by Whitlam and Keating ..

Says alot about the ALP and who they have in their party..lol

Gough has been gone for some time now in case you missed it. It is not unprecedented for a Labor man to turn to the dark side.

Looking forward to seeing the retired LABOR LEADER walking side by side with you other hero :PAULINE..

no doubt at all you voted for her party member in the past Swan...

Bazza you are seriously deluding yourself. I can unequivocally and unambiguously state I have never voted for Mark Latham. Pauline Hanson has nothing but racist views and it is good that the ALP has chosen to continue to place PHON last.

And it would be unfair to suggest that former Liberal Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser (one up from opposition leader)ever renounced his party.

All walks of life, all football clubs have their rippers and their exceptions and by Christ Latham is one of them.

Is Latham a late ring-in panelist on Q&A tonight?

Should make it a very interesting show then.

I would say categorically and unequivocally that you voted for your local ALP candidate who at the time had its leaders and PM candidate as Mark Latham v John Howard..the same year he gave the nut job handshake to Howard
Every right minded person could see Latham was unbalanced , bar of course the ALP.
Says it all really.

Poor old Crazy Latham - he seems to be gravitating further and further to the extreme right with each move.

ALP .............. LibDems ............... PHON .............. next step, the current version of the Coalition.

But not before he chews up, and spits out Poorline in the process. :)

Bazza John Howard will be held in very low esteem in years to come. He will rightfully be held in contempt for his base, racist elections tactics. Out of Howard and Latham who claimed there were WMDs? Which one of them claimed that children had been thrown overboard knowing full well that it was NOT TRUE?

Fairly underwhelming and predictable show. The only thing that I hadnt realised was that the Government were in front in some key marginal seats prior to the coup, which makes the actions of Dutton and co even more stupid, unless they had other motives which it is pretty obvious they did.

Finished watching the Q&A programme. Turnbull's responses were much as expected. He did not admit that he had indeed prostituted his principles to get the position o f Prime Minister and to retain it. He did name names who did knife him in the back and there were veiled comments about the character of some of those people. What I will say is that he was able to engage the audience in a way that I don't think Morrison will ever be able to do.

With respect to renewable energy Australia should be on the leading edge of the R&D in this are and it is much to Australia's detriment we have had Messrs Abbott, Morrison, Kelly et al that have been responsible for holding Australia back economically and environmentally.

On a side issue: where has been the outrage from those who were critical of K Phelps continuing to work as a GP criticising Craig Kelly's decision to become a part time employee at Sky News?
