How are people finding it?

Was a fair bit of messing around getting it going, three different apps.

Not entirely comfortable with the sharing of information between state and commonwealth but for it to work you have to agree.

Not sure if it's me being an old fuddy duddy? Going to start carrying my old fashioned vaccination hard copy certificate around. Show that where it is necessary. If anyone questions the official paperwork, I'll make 'em walk the plank! Not going to bother with all this silly application stuff.
But hey, that's just me.

im still wondering why we need that app when you can access your own My Gov account and save your vaccine certificate in your wallet on your phone already. That has been fine upto now so why spend time and money on a state one?

to be honest - after 45 minutes of buggerising around , I gave up Baz
so I already have the digital certificate saved offline on the Medicare App and also a printed one put aside just in case
I will use the Service WA app to sign in as I have been doing too

Agree mate, easier to stick with what you have.

They made it to hard.

yes, seems to be a lot of doubling and tripling up, Safe WA , then spend another $2 or 3 million to make Service WA, than relies on My Gov and Medicare App as a bolt on. FFS.

I had my cert. saved in a i phone wallet worked fine at the venues.

I have the app, the delay was down to my not reading the stuff properly, why do it well I supposed 40 something years in the APS just means I have a sense of doing what the government says is ok.

I would also point out that sometime ago the government of the day wanted C'link to investigate the Australia card well guess what we now have something that is damn close to it!

I'm not sure why they didn't just beef up the SafeWA app with a bit more functionality to be honest. They'd only need to add an area where you could upload your vaccination certificate and that would do it for mine. I found the Service WA app not user friendly and overly difficult to get going. Heaven help some poor old bugger trying to do it.

Had to set up my old mans for him yesterday as he was struggling. He had literally done 95% but wasn't reading the part that said go to mygov app, key in code "XXXX" and come back. Did that and finished it off.

Think it took 10 mins in total to set it all up.
