Yep...it's a very tricky balancing act the government has at the moment....restrictions have done a very good job of flattening the curve and limiting infections. so we either stay this way until a vaccine is developed which isn't feasible given its still 12 to 18 months away or they ease restrictions and risk the chance of overwhelming the health system if they loosen the knot too much. some tough calls in coming weeks/months.

Yep for sure BC, I would say, give it a go on a gradual bit by bit basis, foot on and off pedal so to speak and see how it goes.

First we need to get to the point where no new cases are recorded and all existing cases have been finalised ie full recovery or sadly for some, death, then after a month of no new cases, the Govt can then consider relaxing some of the measures starting with removing the regional zones travel bans. The state border closures need to stay in place until the rest of Australia reaches the above situation of no new cases etc. IMHO

As for footy, the AFL wont allow anyone else to start footy before them, so state leagues are done this year, cant see it being financially viable for the WAFL/SANFL to restart for a short term season,

To me the biggest concern for us is we are coming into our winter. All the countries that have had their issues are northern hemisphere countries. If we have people getting Covid 19 in Winter then it will spread like mad. Tests have proved the virus doesn't survive long in temperatures above 27 degrees, but in cold climates it mutates and multiplies at a rapid rate.

The human body is ~37 degrees C, so how can that be correct?

.
The virus spreads more quickly in winter because its cold and people tend to gather and mix more indoors in winter.
