If he had been recruited any younger and gone east this could be a totally different story.....
He's homesick not even a year in , lucky he has a stable family life at the age he is otherwise it may well have been the scrap heap

They do, tho i suspect two FULL TIME wa clubs based here, would surely have the most people behind the scenes. Scouts are one thing, having the network of the entire WA scene is another level. He never trialed with vic clubs, BUT he did here for 2 years with the WCE. Right under yer NOSE.

58 we won 3 since 92 / 94 mate... so no probs there . Just think it strange that he was under the eye of the Eagles TWICE and not even rookie listed. Luckily we snared him last year before the Eags were gunna take him with their next pick. Still we gave ya Vardy ( not that i really rate him that much)

unka exactly how many times did your club choose not to draft him prior to drafting him. I am by no means a fan of the Eagles but every person can play the game of why didn't club X draft player Y?

I’m a Vardy fan unk. I think he has a lot to give if he could get an extended run. With our 2 power forwards and 2 top ruckman, he hasn’t been able to show his wares. I reckon I’ll be a Kelly fan next year though.

Used to be unk prior to 87. Them and Norths - obvious hint, blue and white. Thanks to the 2 sms cockheads coaching the sides, no longer have a soft spot for them.
