Subject to weather conditions the winner will need to kick 100pts+ If Freo apply sufficient defensive pressure then Port can't kick near that. If they don't then Port can win with their quick ball movement. I'm thinking Barlow may not play. Should be an absolute cracker, hope Freo can get it done.

Not quite sure what you mean by percentage Anchor, Freo just have to win.

What Anchorman means is that if Freo win and Geelong lose, the Dockers will go to third because they have a better percentage and thus would play Hawthorn in the qualifying final rather than go to Sydney. I think the chances of Geelong losing to Brisbane at the Cattery are minimal though

Barlow in, De Boer out, Crozier the sub.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Excellent game of pressure footy yesterday. The Dockers answered all the challenges and there were a lot of challenges from Port yesterday. There was one moment in the 3rd quarter when Port slipped out to a 2 goal lead that I thought Freo were in trouble. That was when Barlow, Mundy and Ballantyne lifted and all the other players followed. 9 goals in a row was outstanding.

Freo have now played 3 finals type games over the last four weeks, have won two of these and come within a smidgin of beating Geelong at the Cattery. This has been an ideal run into the finals for the Dockers and if they are not ready for Sydney next week, they will never be. A fresh and rested Fyfe also will be back next week and he may be quite driven to perform well in this finals series.

Sydney will be tough on their patch but the reward for winning this game will be a week off and a home preliminary final.........They are capable of doing it.

Im not sure that Zac Dawson can claim he won the duel with Schulz A/M. Shulz kicked 6.1, took 8 marks and had 15 disposals :/

Other than that I thought it was a great game of footy. Absolutely perfect conditions for it. I only saw the second half but from what I saw from both teams they could both easily go deep into finals action. Freo's run of 9 goals was just brilliant to watch. Some really good, hard team footy. And then for Port to come back the way they did when the game seemed all but lost.

I wouldnt but to much on the Port come back, the Dockers iced the game with the first two goals of the opening 1/4, the game was over at that point, the late charge was never going to amount to much Lyon had it covered.

For mine the critical juncture in the game was when Port went out to their biggest lead, they were looking dominant, they went forward in what would would of put them close to 4 goals up, Schultz had a chance to mark on a lead but was beaten, from that point on the momentum changed in favour of the dockers, they went on a goal feast and iced the game.
