I think nicnat is a one trick pony and we are currently seeing the best of him. he can jump really really high but can't do phu*k all else. if he loses his vertical leap as he gets older, what else can he bring to the table?

Maybe he relies too much on the fact that he has a high leap and is extremely athletic. As he loses it, he may start to develop other ways...mainly up top with a footy brain. He's not giving Eagles supporters much to cheer about atm, but I can't believe a club like the WCE has invested so much in him that they can't see light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe it is the proverbial train...we'll see.

WC probably won't make the 8 this year, stick him at CHF where he has to mark in the front and not from the back, with his leap he would be almost impossible to mark over. He just may learn a bit about positioning and realise his potential.

Agree JB. It baffles me that they dont make him play in front. Surely they would at training???..... surely :/

John Todd would put him at CHB and make him accountable.

Yeah LeCras, Kennedy & Co would love him clogging up their space & getting the ball delivered on their heads & at their feet.. He would be all at sea at CHF..

Well at the moment he isnt't doing much, the forward line isn't doing much and they really can't make the finals, so it's worth trying something to recoup some of the money he is costing. I would normally say CHB but that may encourage him to come from behind even more.

They could play him at CHB and tell him to not just play accountable footy, but also take the opposition CHF on. Tell him to try to play in front of them and mark the footy. Nic Nat, I would say, is quicker than most if not all CHF in the game so that shouldnt be an issue.

I thought this thread was about Nat Fyfe but all I see is discussion on Nic Natanui?
