Please, please, please can someone advise if I'm seeing things?
The attendance for this game very poor indeed of apparently only 750!!! Surely a zero is missing on the end? Maybe a one or two needs adding to the front?
Dislike banging on about crowd numbers but something needs saying!
I think last week where one of the matches attracted 660, Then 3 or 4 weeks ago, another attendance of only 713 was reported. There's been several other matches where the attendance cannot even reach a thousand!!! If that is not setting alarm bells off very, very loudly - bloody not sure what does?

Yes its a worrying trend WAG. The last 3 games at Joondalup have been under 1000 and there have been low crowds elsewhere too. The weather has been a factor on some weekends but certainly not last Saturday as the conditions were nice at Bassendean which had the largest crowd. I think it is indicative of the loss in interest in the competition although interestingly many people in my circles still talk about the WAFL but don't go to games. Wonder why?

It has become a boring predictable competition, the WAFC don"t care, they are only interested in the colts and woman's comp, not interested in the mature age comp, they have let the rest of it go on it's merry way unchecked, it's only us diehards that go to the games now.

Simple solution.
Even up the friggin competition.

NOT HARD.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Unfortunately $ubiaco's well won't dry up for another 3-4 years. Another 3-4 years will see massive ramifications and changes to the WAFL. The $ubi folk think this is a big joke and when I have mentioned this on a number of occasions they brush it off, if they can't see what is unfolding right now then they are blind as bats, Im not necessarily talking about the supporters as they just go along for the ride and enjoy the spoils but unfortunately some are oblivious as to what is going on.

Yes STD, massive joke what happened, still in stitches. I only need ask you what it is like for your club to be missing from the competition, you blokes have practically been missing for 40 years :(

I dont treat it as a joke Leedy, of course i have enjoyed Subi's success certainly more than the decades we spent at the bottom, but what would you have the Subi FC do? What can they do that will change the face of the WAFL, a WAFL that is run by a mob that is beholden to the AFL and their 2 Perth based clubs, they dont give a shit and would likely ignore any major structural equalisation plans put to them. Past efforts have been window dressing at best, so once again what would you have the SFC do?

Wasn't this stuff ( Subiaco's dominance) covered in a 114 post thread last week? Unless someone has new information to add it seems a bit pointless regurgitating the same opinions over and over.
