Cardy can you imagine the dough subi is going to pull this September with four afl finals to be played there? We're talking probably 100 to 150 grand for posting out a few envelopes. I don't want to start this topic again because we've been through it a few times but it just frustrates the hell out of me. One club is raking in a shitload of afl money that in a perfect world would be getting spread out between the original eight clubs to form a much stronger league on and off the field.

I suggest they will be pulling more that 100 to 150 grand a AFL game mate.. Have you been into that bar or been to a function there?
Lets not forget the WAFL GF as well.. WP had their after game functions in the back room there after our games.. Last year it was our reserves and the we got kicked out so the WAFL so on of the WAFL league sides could have their after game pissup presentations there.
and on top of that you couldnt move in the general public bar section...

The money would of been pouring in...

yep cheeky me sneaking this in on this topic but it did involve CLA... Once the Subi snipers come in we can leave the topic... :)

PS All the best in the Finals mate would love to see you clean up EP this week.. God that would be so so good.

I thought the compensation and deals done with Subiaco finished in 2011 apart from 500 AFL game seats that Subiaco are able to sell on. I may be wrong, I'm sure BC would be able to clarify this.

OLD news Steve and been spoke about many times and may topics at the TIME!
You could of done a Google search to answer your question.

I am sure your friend BC could clarify it for you :( but I will do a google search

10 year lease extend for function and bar to Subiaco.
Common knowledge.
The lease wasnt extended so the WAFC gave them 10 years to continue with the bar and Function rooms plus seat allocation (I would say this ties in with the Functions)

So 2021 extension.. The big worry is when the New stadium opens of course that will be finsihed.. Will the PSM give Subiaco football club the time left at Perth Stadium?

Subiaco Football Club lease settlement

THE West Australian Football Commission has reached an agreement with Subiaco Football Club to meet legal entitlements relating to the club’s lease at Patersons Stadium.

The lease, which includes function facilities used for AFL games at Patersons Stadium, expires on December 31, 2011.

An option to extend the lease until 2090 will not be exercised, with the WAFC and SFC agreeing to terms for all remaining AFL games at Patersons Stadium to a maximum of 10 years.

The lease extension will be granted as a compensation payment required under the current lease agreement.
