Had a few beers with the lads in the bar and good luck to Smokes next year for the coaching role. Well Done to Paul Sanzone. Good on ya mate.

Thanks VF it was a hard fought win.. and very exciteing to say the least in a hard game to the mighty cardies but everything Paul said came to fruition. a Sad to see him go as he is a coach who knows what he is talking about. Smokes will be an excellant coach and if the guys follow his ethics they will do well even though he will lose a lot of Key players to the league but that is what it is all about.

All the best to Paul as assistant coach to Todd at SF...Long story but will leave it at that. Will never lose any respect to Paul as he is WP thru and thru and he has done his job and must move on

Well done to the Reserves who I followed with a passion and all the best of luck to them whatever path they follow....

Marusic was awarded with the Merv McIntosh Medal after being judged best afield while Matt Fowler also kicked two crucial goals from limited opportunities after also taking part in last year's league triumph with the Falcons.

Well done to Shaun and thanks mate for kicking that impossible goal it lifted our side and they never turned back

Interesting to note Brent Lecras who now plays for Cerventes wore the number 20 Jumper when playing at WP as well... He go Country Footballer of the Year this year I think so there must be a bit luck attached to that jumper..
Unfortunately for Brent they lost the GF to Lancelin..
