Oh dear BH isn't that my argument draftees over flags that u used to take the piss out of? You have come the full circle of WAFL life then mate........from a club who has had a lot of draftees over the years than flags, I would take flags anyday and so would you!

Thus Subi's last 10 years is a hell of a lot better than SD and EF! Anyway how many of those SD boys drafted are actually on an AFL list these days? I envy Subi's lack of drafting success, more out of luck TBH they pillaged the comp with flag success whilst clubs like EF and to a lesser extent SD watched win flag after flag whilst at the same time watched their best juniors get drafted in droves.......possible players of the future who could resulted in a flag dynasty of their own!

No Subi fans have much more to cheer about than us SD and EF fans......good to see Swandog understand that as,well....clever little dude that one is!

well said freez...i support my team to win flags...not produce AFL draftees. if draftees was the measuring stick of success EF would be in a league of its own.

Times were different back then.Footballers all had full time. Payments at the clubs were not to high jobs so they chased better offers.
Agreed that these are professional sportmen and need to earn a living. However they are on good dollars when in the system. I believe in loyalty whether its with West Perth or any other club.
I also believe that ex AFL players should put something back into there old clubs if they return to there original states.

I wouldn't think Krakouer would be too cashed up from the few years with the Pies. If he was lucky enough he may of paid off one house but I doubt it.
What would a WAFL deal get you, 45k a year... if your lucky.
If you want a player to be loyal to a club the club has to be loyal to the player and pay him what he's worth. I'm sure if the same deal was from both clubs Krakouer would choose to be loyal.
