Thanks Beasley I will be looking at the umpires when Budget comes online. Must admit it will be a hard one to umpire as not only will they have the players to contend with but Supporters from both sides. I actually feel sorry for them. Looking at the reports this week those guys certainly werent worried about reporting a few.
It will be a Big day.. WP win Ressies and League and I will be celebrating big time...

Well the Review comittee has started . Kerr got off but from what I heard it was soft
Star midfielder Daniel Kerr is free to play for West Coast this weekend after a charge of rough conduct laid against him in the WAFL over the weekend was withdrawn.

Kerr was booked after making high contact on Subiaco’s Simon Moore in the process of diving on a loose ball while playing for East Fremantle on Saturday.

There did not appear to be any malice in the third-quarter incident, which was caught on video, but it was clear contact was made with Moore’s head.

Kerr had missed the Eagles’ previous two games with knee and rib soreness, and applied ice to the knee in the change rooms after East Fremantle’s 34-point win.

But the 30-year-old veteran showed no major signs of discomfort during the game, in which he collected 31 disposals as one of the Sharks’ best players.

Kerr could play his first game for West Coast since round 14 when they take on the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Sharks do not expect to have Kerr made available to play in the WAFL when they meet arch rivals South Fremantle at Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

EP Eagles- 7 goals from free kicks to SD- 2 goals from free kicks is the more relevant stat I would have thought!

EP Eagles- 7 goals from free kicks to SD- 2 goals from free kicks is the more relevant stat I would have thought!

our forwards first to the ball, when you have the likes of smith up forward 8 times out of ten the backs will over commit in the contest ,
Are you trying to say that we kicked 7 goals from set shots which resulted from free kicks

We played SF last week and it was a great CLEAN game of footy. Against EP it would be unusual if nothing happens. Will be watching with interest

for gods sake cardy i was talking about crowd antics. which appears to be something you are fine with given the convenience of which you brushed over the issue. what an immature response ?!?

and from what has been stated the brawl on saturday was an all in brawl. one of those where lots of players get worked up, get reported and in the end 95% of them are done for push n shove. so dont blow it out of proportion.

maybe you should take your mind back to west perth v east fremantle at leederville in 1982 when the headline in the papers back then was "A Black Day at Leederville". It too was an all in brawl but very serious. David Rankin got a king hit & broken jaw, an off duty poilice officer was assaulted by a west perth member, and its all there for the record. tons of players reported and suspended too, but the crowd involvement was diabolical that day.

so please... spare us the repeated holier than thou jargon about west perths clean cut and wholesome history. the carry on over a simple request for spectators to grow up just highlights my quiery. i would have thought a simple - yes we should all pull our heads in answer would be a rational response. thank godness of the 8 or 10,000 people who go to the wafl every week, only about 10 of them post here. most here dont even make up a percent of what goes to the games thank god.

anyway for me i say good luck to both clubs and hope the crowd enjoy the football. be loud and passionate and start setting a bloody example .

I havent seen any incidents lately that would not be any different from any other WAFL game especially the ones EP are involved in.

MATCH REVIEW RESULTS FROM Monday night. I see Most of the EP players copped the 50 dollar fine and Most of the SD players reports were withdrawn.

What a waste of time it all turned out to be..SAY NO MORE!

Interesting to note the number of charges withdrawn. Another fine example of wonderful umpiring.

i spent bloody 14 and a half months in total in vietnam in the 60's. and hated ever single minute of it. Do you think id shelter myself at a westperth game ?

its impossible to get any common sense out of this, but enjoy the game cardy all the best on the day. im expecting wp to hit back hard after last week. should make for a positive footy match hopefully
