Bill bullocked the boys after the game, his address was excellent. Bill was not irrational, he was specific and reasonable, this is the side of Bill I like. He did not single out any players and he didnt blow their bags because they won, not like
the game against Swans a few years ago where Bill said 'YOU ARE THE REAL DEAL'and then we fell from grace. Bill addressed the players from the back of the room so he faced the players and the members, well done again Bill to show respect to everybody in the room, Football can be cruel, Subiaco were in front all day and lost the game , this is Football, hey.

Dont worry DG we know the feeling after being dominent especially the game v EP where we led all the way and then didnt get a goal in the last qtr.
As Winger says that is football. Gotta take the good with the bad. We know how you Subi Supporters feel because we have been there and done that.
EF lost by 3 points today in a vital game and they must be very very down tonight as well. Long way to go yet and the way the WAFL is travelling still a few clubs in with a chance.. Win a couple on the trot or lose a couple on the trot and the ladder changes dramatically.
Well done to Perth today a good turn around for them...

Hutchie was only allowed to play 75min today because of the WCE Thursday game, thats why Bill left him off for the entire 1st qtr !

With a bit of luck he gets picked for Wet Toast on Thurs and Slicks plane is delayed back from Europe, or he is severely jetlagged if he plays

Im guessing we will need to find another for Hutchies role - we cant afford not to have the spark and run out of the centre if he's not there....Too hard to make it back after giving goals away
Good for Hutchie though as it shows his talents to the Eagles ...

Interesting that Hutchy didnt play the first qtr due to instructions from Eagles?
It defies reasoning as to why this happened and cannot see the Logic. WP would of effectively been one man short for that qtr as well.
Obviously when EP and Peel get the AFL players the WAFL coaches of those sides wont have much say in the matter. Another example why it wont work.
The plot thickens

Now not saying it would of made a huge difference but Hutchy did play well in the remaining 3 qtrs.. I watched the Reserves game and it all came down to who was playing the Southern end as to who scored. Pity Bill didnt take note of that as it happened during the league game as well. Should of had an extra man in defence from the start with Subi kicking that way. Think he did it eventually but Subi were 5 goals up then :(

Supporters around me were concerned about the Subi dominence in the first qtr but I said it was a 3/4 goal breeze from what I had seen from the Ressies.. Sure enough it did happen but Sub Defence and coach certainly stopped us in the Second from scoring that 5 goals.

For example in the Ressies with
1st qtr with WP kicking to Southern end 3 goals up
2nd qtr with S kicking to Southern end 3 goal turnaround
3rd qtr with WP kicking to Southern end 4 goal qtr to lead
4th qtr with S kicking to Southern end 6 goal qtr

WP lifted in the last and kicked 3 against the breeze to hold Subi out.
If you look at the League it was very similar and the Southern end depending on how you kicked was the favoured end.

Paul Sanzone as mentioned after the game in the change rooms went into a Code Red in the last qtr even though a couple of the guys didnt go into it. Some even went into a Code Blue which annoyed him as they did not follow instructions.
Code Blue is where you maintain possession when it is tight at the end and you even go backwards to milk time
Code Red is where your HF's move up the field and play near the centre and your Wings come in.

He mentioned code black but dont know what that one is - Sure someone can tell me

Anyway just my thoughts any input welcome :)
