Just checked the stats for the game again, Jacobs was our second highest ball winner with 27 possessions behind Hodge who had 33.

Now there's a kid that could end up a Captain of the club and play 150 games I reckon. Now played 54 I think.

Johnston finished third in reserves awards on Saturday night at the club.

Nick Kane is another one who could possibly come back in this week. All depends on the severity of his hamstring injury. It would have been three weeks since he did it. Would like to see Johnston get given a go in the league team, like the way he goes about it and has had his share of injuries this season but seems to be past that now. They were only minor injuries but they just happened one after the other. Oh Well that's life.

Risol has been a fantastic pick up and holds his own against some of the best forwards in the comp. Nick Kane as been doing an outstanding job playing as the second tall this year as well. If Johnston can get a run at it in the league team, this may allow Kane to play as a third tall. All depends on match ups though as some teams have smaller forward lines like us and others have taller forward lines like Swans (Geappen and Notte).

Haven't seen Dale Wallam's name for a while......injured or just gone back to Mullewa?.....lots of potential, just not sure the interest.....no disrespect to you boys I reckon he thought PFC would be an easier option for a game.....I think right now he'd have a better chance of getting a game at EF......disappointing if he has packed it in, got all that indigenous flair, good opportunity to learn from the likes of a Bateman and Stack too on commitment etc.....

Cant say I have seen him freeze. Looked on the wafl site and it says he only played the one ressie game after coming from EF colts. There is a dale Wallam playing for Kelmscott at the moment who looks to have only signed up with them recently so that may be him? Your right about getting a game though........very hard to break into the reserves side never mind the league! The ressies have a couple of small forward (who happen to be indigenous also)that are having a good season in egan and one of the collards.

Mr A Nick Kane was running the water for the dees on Saturday and I didnt see him struggling at all. On a couple of occasions he was running at full tilt so we should expect him back!Unless its something else but pretty sure the injury was a hamstring!

If I recall he had some big hamstring injuries during his time at the hawks that sindlined him for a while. Like I said in other posts we might need to start looking after him because we really need his leadership on the field at the moment. If we flog him to death he might not be able to make the contribution we expect Hes still got planty of run in him we just need to manage his injuries.

You know what Lucifer I saw he was running water or was the runner as well and I completely forgot haha. I'd say that if he was permitted to do that then he must be a pretty good chance this weekend then.

People say manage him. Do they mean give him a spell for a week to freshen him up or could we see him play more in the forward line with Reimers pushing up to the midfield. That way we still get the effects of his leadership and voice throughout the game but he would have more rest time in the forward 50 than he would as an onballer/wingman

Also just seen on the WAFL website that 2359 people attended the game. Not sure if this was just for the League game or included the colts and reserves but I would have said that there was about 2000-2100 there which isn't a bad crowd.

How many can we get for the West Perth game. I'm going to say 2500 or more. Arena Joondalup is a bit far to travel for some supporters and some have said that they don't like the facilities there so taking this into account, as well as the fact that WCE play GWS then 2500 would be a decent crowd.
