Possibly our most important re-listing ever.

I'm going to agree with this statement. I can't think of a more important re-listing apart from Barry Cable and we all know what happened when we didn't get him back. I also think McInnes can be our 50/60 goal forward if we leave him as a forward and not use him as a back up ruck. We have other options as a second ruck.

McInnes is not a 50/60 goals forward now so what makes you think he will be in the future?

I agree he’s not a 50/60 goal a year forward,for starters he’s a terrible set shot for goal.

I see his value as a CHF that can take the best defender,be that first target going forward,he can take a grab or bring the ball to ground for the smalls, can pinch hit in the ruck but he’s not a Full Forward.

Agree, not a 50/60 goal scorer but a key target up forward, yep CHF. But the main point is he is a one point player. We will need a leading forward capable of taking a contested mark and kicking 50/60 goals. He will probably be a 10-12 points player.
Get both of them and the small forwards will have a ball.

Yes, Smokey, he's not a 50/60 goal forward. I don't want to see Perth fans have unrealistic expectations followed by a backlash against him. McInnes would give a good honest effort every game. He should play as a permanent forward, where he would provide a target, give a contest, and hopefully bring our small forwards into the game more, but he won't kick bags of goals. In a perfect world I'd rather have Borchet or Sokol or Shaw, but we take what we can get. As I said before, though, what I wouldn't like to see is us getting McInnes back and then ticking off the key forward/ruck part of our recruiting drive and not looking elsewhere for that type of player.

STT he is no longer a WCE player.
He is now a Perth player unless he is picked up by another AFL Club.
He plays with us or they buy us one.

Ted not sure that the new kids on the block would see other than a bonus.

STT, if you read the article on the Eagles website it seems pretty clear they are parting ways with Fraser. Looks a likely clean break.
Anyway, as DF says now he is delisted he is once again a Perth 1point player. Any other club including WCE wanting to recruit him will have to deal with PFC.

I see Liam McKenna has had a good year playing for Essendon VFL team playing in there midfield.
Personally I didn’t like his antics on the footy field but he did play some good games for us.
Not sure where he’s at with clubs for 2020,Essendon have just lost the prelim so maybe worth asking the question.
A one point player.

In The West today: McInnes likely to stay at the Eagles. What a crock: the WAFL talks about equalisation, then lets an AFL reserves team take a key player from the worst performing team in the WAFL over the last 20 years. The article also said that the points cap is being reduced to 100. I don't know whether we will have an extra 10 points, as we do now. I hope we do, otherwise, we will only be able to recruit one ex AFL/experienced State league player, which would not be nearly enough. Certainly hopes of getting a midfielder, ruckman and key forward will be difficult to realise.

Guys come on be realistic here. If Fraser wanted to play for Perth he would but he’s spent what, 7 or 8 years at the Eagles? He is much more an Eagles man than a Perth man. My only concern would be how much are the WAFC bending the rules to suit the Eagles? If they allow him to play as a top up player, how many top up players are they allowed and is Drew Petrie still allowed to play for the Eagles if McInness is allowed to play as a top up player? Needs to be some clarity here.
