And Leedy, glad to hear you rarely rarely write crap. Unless you feel like it of course. Gotcha.

I was referring to our efforts off the field over the past 20 years.
Unlike some clubs we have been responsible and worked our own way back from the brink.
So much so we are now one of the strongest clubs financially.
Would have thought you have more chance of disappearing up your own arse.

PFC can hold it's head up high when it comes down to the fact that we were diabolically in debt once upon a time. No-one came to help us then. We dealt with it. No 4 cents in the dollars settlement just good old fashioned money management and fiscal responsibility. Fiscal? For the uneducated that means we lived within our limited means year by year. We are now a financially strong club that is the envy of most clubs yet we intend to remain fiscally responsible in the long term.
Off-field we still have big problems but are trying to work through those. The big thing is that we remain financially responsible and will not just throw big money away. We must remain astute yet prudent when it comes down to that.

I really believe that we are close to a return to form. We put together 5 good quarters and then fell over in second half today which was extremely disappointing but....I think that we are just taking some time to get our best team selected and gelling. I think that it’s great that Martin and zed had hauls in the 2s and Gordy got some good stats as did Horan and Hansen. The answers are in there, just got to get it right. Imagine Gordy getting 20 touches in a league game and someone will bob up with s 5 goal haul. Or a 4, ok I’ll take a three!!!!

I'm still trying to work out how a team can drop off in intensity and effort over 20 minutes of half time. That third quarter was diabolical and it was just waves of WP running through the middle. Granted some smart moves by Valentine but our midfield work rate to pressure WP's forward entry just dropped off and they just ran into that forward line without a much resistance in the third quarter and that's concerning.

I thought Coniglio did another good job this time on Knott. All our best players behind the ball again. A worry.

Having said that they played some great footy in the first half and I fancy our chances against the SF slingshot brand.

Agree Daz Coniglio has been good in his 2 league appearances so far apart from the short pass on the kick out that was marked by a WP player who converted. There should be a rule at the club. No new recruits are allowed to do the kicking out duties, Chris Bryan has had some clangers also.

But seriously we need bigger bodies up front. Colledge is wasted camped up forward for mine, I suspect he might not be 100% fit but I think we need to roll the dice with Chris Martin who's been brought in from Subi, booted 4 on the weekend and maybe Zareth Roe. Cody Ninyet will be lucky to hold his place IMO. He just doesn't have an impact.

Bennell has lost his radar and needs to find it in a hurry but at least he's having a crack.

Yep, why not, probably time to give skinny young Martin a go. This is when we needed Blake Johnson available.

It's not like we struggle to get it in there. We won the inside 50s but it just turns to pus once it goes over the 50m line. Langdon looked our best forward all game.

Not helped by WP getting kissed on the bellend by the maggots. 24-6 frees. FMD. They hate us.
