Carlisle JFC and then moved to Dalkeith/Nedlands JFC.

Pretty sure Peter Spencer did come from Manning and so did former Claremont / Hawthorn full back John Lewis from the same era. Impressive list.

As Peter Spencer won the Sandover in 76 for East Perth and Peaky won the Sandover for East Fremantle in 77 and Perth won both flags in 76/77 it would have been a cracking team if they were both in it.

Also Wiley should have won the Sandover medal in '78 which would have made it a Manning hat trick. He won every media award by the length of the straight that year but somehow not the Sandover.

He kicked 9 goals one day at Claremont Oval and failed to poll a vote.
Lost the Sandover to Phil Kelly by one vote.
Ken was not a happy man that night.
